Final Concept Development
The final idea is based on how people arrange the flowers. I find that people uses flower branch to create sections in the vase, and use flower foam or clay to keep the flower in the position.
How can I create the sections in my way?
How can I keep the design elegant but keep the manufacture price low?
Step 1: I started with a three vases vase set. However, the stick is too thin to hold more than 2 flowers for the first vase, and the third vase is not useful.
Step 2: I change the stick of vase 1 to tubes, and explore the forms it can possibly be.
Step2: I decided to use stick instead of tube for the vase 2. Vase 3 is deleted from the set.
Step 3: I tried the composition of the tubes, as well as its diameters and lengths.

Final Design
This is the ili vase set. This set of vases contains 2 different vases, and 5 parts in total. The set aims to guide the users to play with flowers with various lengths and help the users to arrange the flowers.
Full-Size Prototype
The Metal part of the prototype is made with aluminum tubes and sticks. I sanded and polished them in the workshop.
The glass parts of the vase are made with clear acrylic, each vase container is made with 5 cnc pieces, and they are glued together with acrylic glue.
The video demonstrated how the vase set can be used.
